Tribhuvan University, Institute of Medicine,
Lalitpur Nursing Campus offers the following educational programmes:
• Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL):
It is a three years programme. The
yearly intake for this programme is 45 students. This programme
commencing yearly in March.
• Post Basic Bachelor in Nursing (BN):
BN is a two years programme. The yearly
intake for this programme is 40 students. The campus has two
types of programmes in BN

Bachelor in Hospital Nursing Major –
intake of 25 students and |
| ii) |
Bachelor in Community Health Nursing Major
– intake of 10 students. This programme commencing
yearly in November. |
• Masters in Nursing (MN):
MN is a two years programme. The yearly intake for this programme is 5 students. The campus has one specialized area in MN i.e.
Women's Health Development. This programme commencing yearly in March/April
• Inservice education / short term
training courses:
The campus also provides Entrance
Preparation Class for the interested candidates before entrance
exam for PCL.
