International Health Exchange Program (IHEP)

Many foreign student nurses are interested to visit Nepal to learn about the culture of Nepal and to know about the health care system of Nepal. To fulfill the wishes of foreign student nurses, Lalitpur Nursing Campus (LNC) could be one of the right destinations.

Foreign nursing students have been visiting LNC for many years. Students will be with us for a period of two to three months. During this period, they will visit different health care sectors and organizations accompanied by one of the teachers from Lalitpur Nursing Campus. They will also perform practicum of eight weeks at the hospital in their specific areas like: Children's Ward, Medical Ward, Surgical Ward, Maternity Ward, Operation Theater, etc.

At present, the campus entertains only short term exchange program i.e. of two to eight weeks but in future, there is plan for the longer period of program of six months too. The interested international institutes of higher education must contact the office of Lalitpur Nursing Campus before five months from the tentative schedule to travel.
